Projects and Activities in East Manchester

The physical regeneration of the area is already well underway. The East Manchester skyline is dominated by the City of Manchester Stadium. Once the centrepeice of the Commonwealth Games and now home to Manchester City Football Club, the stadium is part of the wider Sportcity development.

To the north of the area is Central Park, the largest urban business park in the UK and the key to the economic renaissance of the area.

Other major projects; Gorton Monastery, City Works, New Islington, and the Medlock Valley all support the ongoing development of New East Manchester as the place to live work and visit.
