Clayton West is situated two miles east of Manchester City centre and adjacent to Sportcity. Clayton West is bounded by Alan Turing to the West, Ashton New Rd /North Rd to the South, Clayton St to the East and Riverpark Rd/Briscoe Lane to the North.

Residents can access all of the world-class facilities at Sportcity, from the state-of-the art gym, through to the athletics track or indoor squash centre. For less exertive recreation, the rolling pastures of Philips Park and Medlock Valley offer an alternative to the hustle and bustle of city life.
