Beswick

The boundary for Beswick covers an area from Ashton Old Road to the South, Ashton New Road to the North, Alan Turing Way to the East and the railway line adjacent to Holly Street to the West. The houses north of Palmerston and east of the River Medlock in North Beswick are also included.

From the shops, bars and restaurants of the city centre, through to the world class sporting facilities at Sportcity, residents from Beswick can enjoy a wide range of nearby amenities.

Along with the Grange Community Centre, Bradford Park, a new primary school, Beswick is also benefiting from a brand new high school due to open in 2010.
