Newton Heath

Newton Heath is the situated on the northeast boundary of east Manchester. With an eclectic mix of housing, from traditional post war through to 1970’s houses and maisonettes, Newton Heath even boasts its own housing conservation area overlooking the popular Brookdale Park.

With a district centre, Newton Heath residents can readily access a wide variety of shops, as well as a brand new Sure Start Children’s Centre. Further investment will ensure the centre continues to improve and the Rochdale/Oldham Metrolink will serve Newton Heath,  improving transport to and from the city centre.
