create an internal street network across the Parkhouse Industrial Estate to improve neighbourhood permeability, create an address for new employment uses and establish an internal circulation route for heavy vehicles
improve road and pedestrian connections north of Ashton Canal
Establish a Stockport Canal ‘Greenway’ north to Clayton Hall and the Ashton Canal Corridor and south to Gorton
Establish a Green Route linking Beswick east with the Ashton Canal Corridor
Capitalise on the high profile areas along Alan Turning Way by locating prestigious commercial and mixed use development along this frontage
Undertake extensive landscape improvements along Ashton Old Road, Alan Turing Way and Ashton New Road
